Hi there! I'm Loris Swanson-Jones, wife, mother of 3 and Grams to 2 granddaughters.  I'm an only child who lost my mom to lung cancer in October of 2019 and instantly became caregiver to my father who had dementia and then I lost my father in May of 2020. 

 

Lifechangesquickly.com is partially an outlet for me to give you an insight of what it was like going from being the child to being the caregiver and having to take over. I'll even chronicle my fight for justice in the elder abuse case I filed against a caregiver.

I love to travel and can't wait until I retire so I can travel more!!  I have been to most of the states in the lower 48 as well as Canada, Mexico, France, England and Sweden. I try to say that I've been to the Netherlands but I never got out of the airport 😂

​

I also have started my own Pampered Chef business so you will see some of that sprinkled in here and there! I started off strong with the business but my health (stress and anxiety) has made me choose back off on things a little bit.  Feeling like you're having a heart attack and spending time in the hospital will make you rethink priorities and my well-being and being able to be around for my family is a top priority!

 

So as people keep telling me, it is time for some self-care and that is one of the reasons for lifechangesquickly.com, I can write in my blog about what is bothering me, I can share the good, the bad and the ugly with anyone or no one! I can share my business, I can share my travels but most of all I can have an outlet and not keep it all bottled up and cause myself to get stressed out!
